At this moment I have worked for Pure Fishing for 20 years. Before that I was the head of the sports fishing department in one of Norway’s best outdoor store, Jakt & Friluft in Arendal. In 1996 I got the opportunity to join the team of one of the biggest sports fishing suppliers in the world. I then thought that it could be a fantastic experience to be a traveling salesman for a few years.
Now 20 years later I am still here! Pure Fishing and their brands have over the years gone through big changes. I started to work for Tom Bedell (Berkley) and now we are part of an enormous company called Newell Brands. Luckily there is still room for a fishing idiot like me. The combination of Strong Brands, independent responsibility, new challenges, and fantastic colleagues makes me want to stay for a few more years, hopefully!
